The 1st grade students built a beautiful and informative flower garden display overlooking the SJS courtyard. This Studio project started with some important flower research. The students were then given a variety of plain wooded shapes. They painted the shapes, arranged them into a flower design, hot glued the pieces , and used a drill to make a flower stand. They each were assigned a flower fact to share both on their display and in a green screen video. Their creative displays and video presentations of enlightening flower facts will be in the courtyard hallway later this week and through the last week of school.
