5th Grade - Native American Exhibits
During the week of October 15th, Mrs. Babic’s 5th grade social studies class built some extraordinary Native American displays. The students researched five prominent tribes and designed exhibits based on their knowledge. They worked diligently and creatively to replicate miniature Native American environments of long ago. A great deal of painting, sculpting, and building went into these creations. The outer display boxes, which were pre-designed at RGI, allow the viewer to gaze into the scene through one of two peep holes. This type of exhibit gives the audience a more focused and intimate viewing experience. Please stop by the cafeteria to check out the Native American displays and learn some fascinating facts during parent-teacher conference week.
